          To break up the travel time from Krakow to Budapest, we were taken off the beat path to the Tatras, a high mountain range in Slovokia that is a hiking and skiing mecca.           Thankfully Mr Bear decided he was a bit bored and shuffled his way off of the track and into the shrubs after about 20 minutes. Once he was out of sight we made a quick dash with the other hikers in an attempt to get back down the hill as fast as possible without being spotted. Anyone who’s been hiking knows sometimes this can be quite the challenge when everyone is wearing brightly coloured Northface jackets.

          ... designated fit for work died within six months from the the hard work, disease and starvation. The Nazis kept all their possessions for redistribution to Germans and after the Germans were defeated there were huge warehouses of these possessions found at Auschwitz. There was even 2 tons of human hair which is on display in one of the buildings.
