    So I've gone and done the most bizarre, yet exciting thing! I've booked a three and a half week cross country trip to America.     ... champers and dinner to celebrate Mum and Dad's 50 year milestone. We had a lovely evening helped along by some magic tricks from Rob and a great game of Sequence. Alice was VERY happy with that as she always wants to play games and loves it when we find her some enthusiastic participants!

    ... This involves getting milk from the pasteurizer, and carrying lots of 20L drums to the calf house. There are around 100 calves in pens of 10. After feeding them she has to bed them straw everyday. All the calves are kept inside until they are rising 1’s, so Hannah has to feed them silage with a pitch fork and pellets. Calves are taken off there mothers once they have been cleaned and then are feed colostrum for 3 days by Hannah. Then everything needs to be cleaned ...
