... to say, we didn't swim for long! We had some nice cool melon during the morning and I also had a refreshingly cold beer. The afternoon comprised of writing a couple of missed journal entries and an amazing lunch. I went for pizza and Lisa had a Greek prawn dish. They were both very well made and tasty as anything. I think we have found a great restaurant here. After lunch we went for a short walk to the end of ...

... out, being right beside it. After seeing the other huts we could have stayed in, I was very happy with our shack! After getting settled we met Allison and Kayla on the beach where we laid there almost all afternoon. Today we had a nice relaxing beach day. We woke up and walked to a nearby fruit market to grab a banana for breakfast. We walked back down to our hotel and laid by the pool all morning, Gabby and I being the only two people there. It was so nice to just relax. We love our hotel here, it's my favorite of the trip. The owners are so kind, greeting us with a "good morning girls did you sleep well!" As soon as we came downstairs. The owner drove us to the police ...

... is a pool, but it's tiny and everyone wants to be in it during the day. Closed in the evening. We stood in a queue for half an hour to get out of the ship when we came to Συρος. It was hot, moist and smelled like fish and perfume. This isn't all bad though. I am guessing that these things are what allow the cruise to have the relatively small price. I guess I'm grumpy today. Don't be grumpy. The crew is ...

Up hill, down hill and round the bends

... partner, Veseline, joined us for dinner. Yannis drove - crazy, scary drive along a narrow road with hairpin bends. The food was amazing - the parsley dip was my favourite - and the company delightful. We all had a wonderful time. I must find the recipe for the parsley dip when I get back. On the way back, Yannis stopped at the Church of Anastasis (Redeemer) on the Vrondado hill to take in the views of Syros and Ano Syros at night. A wonderful day which ended with a fabulous meal at ...
