... and our boat didn't leave till 2.30pm but ended up not leaving till nearly 3pm. I caught up on my blog which for some reason has been made more difficult as I haven't been able to open the app for the last three days and so I had to do it through their web site. So four days have been written up in this manner and now I'm back on this fast jet boat the app opened so I'm back in business. Lets hope when I'm finally able to sync it picks up all my other entries. So ...

... is a pool, but it's tiny and everyone wants to be in it during the day. Closed in the evening. We stood in a queue for half an hour to get out of the ship when we came to Συρος. ... I would be collected by Stavros in half an hour. There was no apology from Stavros when he arrived, and he then told me I wouldn't be staying at the Young Inn which I had booked, but at Captain Dounas instead. Naoussa, whilst very beautiful and picturesque is very expensive and all the shops are boutiques, not ...

... partner, Veseline, joined us for dinner. Yannis drove - crazy, scary drive along a narrow road with hairpin bends. The food was amazing - the parsley dip was my favourite - and the company delightful. We all had a wonderful time. I must find the recipe for the parsley dip when I get back. On the way back, Yannis stopped at the Church of Anastasis (Redeemer) on the Vrondado hill to take in the views of Syros and Ano Syros at night. A wonderful day which ended with a fabulous meal at ...

... The Montasary happened to be located at the top of the highest peak - or at least it seemed that way! We must have taken over 500 stairs to get up there! It was very beautiful and the church was open so we could go in and take pictures. Coming backdown we shomhow managed to take a wrong turn ending up getting lost in and around all the tiny hillside streets for close to 40 minutes!! We walked up and then down, then around, then up and up and up! We ended ...
