    Breakfast in our private courtyard, shaded by the vines and fig tree. Not bad. Fresh croissants, coffee and quiche lardon from the boulangerie nearby. Wandered around Beaune, visited some of the wine cellars an tasted some good wine. Splashed out on a bottle of Gevrey-Chambertin 2011, beautiful. At lunch we found a restaurant that was well rated on trip advisor, Les Grilladines. The food was supposed to be very good, but the staff surly. ...

    We then drove back to Chalon-Sur-Saone and took the boys iceskating! We had so much fun doing it in London, that we jumped at the chance to do it again.
