    ... was quite warm we found ourselves in need of refreshments. Well we came across French pub and were made welcome. There were only a handful of people in the bar but very soon people began to drift in. We were not aware of the tradition and it might only be peculiar to this pub, but every time a newcomer entered the bar, they shook hands with everyone on the bar.     ... of canola. Exactly what I was looking for! And the sun broke through the clouds at just the right time. It feels nice to photograph something new and unseen before, although it kinda does have a standard feel to it, I wonder if bright blue skies would have made it better or worse...     ... and had a wander around the lovely town to refresh our memories. This was one of the towns where we used to bring our visitors to amble around the boutique shops and have a lazy lunch at one of the outside restaurants in the square.


    Next stop was the village of Chagny, this was about 20 minutes from where we used to live and the plan was to get out on our bikes and cycle around all the old haunts for old times sake…….unfortunately ...

    ... took 8 hours.He later agreed to collaborate with Daguerre, then he died before the patent was filed for. Why did we care? Because the very first photograph ever taken is now in AUSTIN. So we had to see the museum! Found out the photo is at UT....we will find it. Also went to the food market, the local cathedral and the local food market.
