    ... fish and cream brle for Amanda -just delish! Everything cooked perfectly, with all the trimmings and pleasant service.
    Next day set off for Chalon which has to be one of our favourite towns/small city so far. At least as nice as Lion though a little smaller.     We started our second day in Beaune with a lovely breakfast before going to the Fallot Moutaderie - the mustard factory. At the factory, Ben saw a stone mustard grinder for crushing mustard seeds. Next we got to make our own mustard by crushing mustard seeds with salt and verjus (which Ben thought smelt like vinegar) in a mortar and pestle.     ... took 8 hours.He later agreed to collaborate with Daguerre, then he died before the patent was filed for. Why did we care? Because the very first photograph ever taken is now in AUSTIN.
