Today has been a long travelling day. I'm aboard the Sunset...this train goes from New Orleans to Los Angeles...hooking up with the Texas Eagle in San Antonio in the middle of the night...52 hours door to door. This is a civilised way to travel. Sure, a plane could do it in 3 to 4 hours, but what do you see from a plane? This amtrak has a top deck panoramic car...glass ceiling and glass windows to the floor...I'm 15 ...
