... 8217;t believe we’ve been away for so long, almost at the halfway point now! It’s been lovely seeing Nicola, and am looking forward to more family time soon. Definitely glad to have this break in the middle of the trip to relax and spend time with them, makes being away for so long a little easier. Tomorrow, we hit the road again! Apparently it’s snowing up there… we shall see. Winter gear back to the top of the suitcase! Bring it on!

Off we go. Ashley dropped us off at the airport & who should I run into but one of my book club buddies, Cathy, on her way to Rome, too! She was on another carrier, though...but too funny that we saw each other outside the terminal.
