I had not realized what a difference having a proper helmet makes to driving the bike here. With the rain and heavy winds, a visor is really a must. The BS helmets that Oleander gives to tourists totally suck – you can pull them off your head easily and there is no visor at all. My eyes hurt after driving for 20 minutes from the wind. ... I can dry my hair. Not a very good solution. So I was thrilled to get a call last night on my voice mail from the front desk. She said they had confirmed that the smoke alarm goes off, and that they suggest I move the dryer as far away as I can and stop it every couple of minutes. Great.

Well, within 48hrs of leaving the BVIs MIldred realised that we weren't listening to her when she was trying to help, decided to ease her mounting bolts on the stern and therefore had to be switched off before she thew a complete wobbly and jumped ship! Breakfast at the ship.Heavy, with corned beef hash and eggs.
Took a public ferry to Hamilton .Took 20 minutes.
Walk to the park and met a couple of American and Swiss. in the moongate of the park.
Went to a bookstore and bought a book about Bermuda and their customs and traditions.
Bought a 10 dollar t shirt.
Went to the Post Office in an old building ...
