        As you can see, the clouds came in after the first hour or so and after running around with the camera in -3C at 10pm at night they eventually smothered the sky and blocked the lights from our view. But still... unspeakably excited to have seen them

        Before we left the Lofoten Islands we decided to visit a Viking museum located about a 45 min. drive from Kabelvag. The museum includes a recreation of a very large Viking lord's longhouse based on an archaeological find in a farmer's field. It has been developed to show many different aspects of the daily lives of the Vikings.
