A lot of travelling again today! The bus journey to Narvik airport was interesting. It stops at every village between Å and the airport (a journey of about 300km), with a change of drivers half way through. I picked it up in Kabelvåg, by which time it was running late. It has been developed to show many different aspects of the daily lives of the Vikings.

After touring the Viking longhouse we took a walk down to the fjord where they have recreated a Viking ...

Leaving Skarberget, I was making good time and hoped to get past Narvik before finding a campsite. At Narvik the weather started to turn. then there was a delay due to roadworks on a bridge.
Finally there was no campsite at Bjerkvik a place I thought would be handy to stop!
There was no where back except the other side of the bridge delay so I headed ever onward climbing back up into the snow wondering what I had decided on! It ...
