Right over Circular Quay. Great location going through some remodeling of Lobby & restaurants.

So far so good. The check in could have gone a little smoother but the room was clean and everyone has been very friendly.

The Marriott is just a few minutes walk from Circular Quay, a great place to be. The ferries leave from the Quay, the opera house is close and there is a lovely walking trail along the harbor that goes through the Botanical Gardens. Our room has a great view of the bridge, is big enough for the three of us and even better- is booked with points! The pool is lovely, and free breakfast in the executive suite means more money to enjoy this amazing city (so thankful to have status with Marriott). Also close to airport train, so didn't have to lug the bags too far.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It was a great experience for me and my family. But it is a very big hotel and you can get lost easily. Just remember where your key is at all times.

After a 15 hour flight from Los Angeles we arrived fairly well rested in Sydney. Hooray for business class. We were able to get into our hotel room after a short wait so we grabbed showers and headed out for lunch. We walked through the market in The Rocks and wound up eating at the cafe at the Museum of Contemporary Art. A good lunch with a …

Today is disembarkation day. We chose early disembark times so Scott, Jessica and Isaiah would have some time to explore the city a bit before going back to Auckland this evening. We left the ship before 8AM. Kudos to the cruise lines as they have really improved the disembarkation
process from what it was 20 years ago.

It looked like it might rain a little today so we chose to take the hop-on, hop-off bus trip in Sydney. We braved sitting on the top open level and only had to retreat to the lower level once when a shower showed up. There are two "loops" to take, one in the city and one to the Bondi Beach area, a famous beach area outside of town. We did both …
