... did I see; well there was the drunken soccer fans either heading to or from a game, there were the drunken high school aged kids that looked like they just come from the disco. Also there were plenty of beautiful girls walking through the station but the best was the really drunken guy sleeping while standing and then in the chair then standing again. He was everywhere and then the police came to talk with him. Again it was an interesting few hours ...

What can I say - I really love Germany and this little town is no exception. Actually stayed here a couple of nights mainly to catch up on emails and sleep. This is a cute little town that is most well known for its travelling musicians of Bremen which is a rooster atop the cat atop the dog who is standing on the donkey (apparently they were scaring robbers who invaded their house). ... around for 2 hrs we stumbled upon an Irish pub and paid 4.10 euro for a perfect 42 degree Guinness.<br><br>it was worth every penny...<br><br>after the beverage. we caught the second to last bus back to the hotel. all is well and the weekend plans to Dublin a shaping up. We ate at the university "mensa," which is basically a tri-level emporium of people and food masquerading as a cafeteria. It's pretty intense, and there are lots of choices for food. Six different stations each prepare a different meal, so you figure out what you want and stand in line. There are other stations with drinks, a salad bar, burger counter, an ice cream ...

The train ride from Hamburg to Bremen took about two hours. At the station I had to wait for Puneet, because he missed his train to the city centre. About an hour later we finally met.
