... One of the places we visited was the Cathedral, which I've seen plenty of times but we were very lucky the other day because it was actually open for the public to come and look at. But they're great kids and I'm hoping to get a few more as word spreads to the other English classes. Before heading off on our trip, I contacted some of our relatives in Holland and they invited us to spend a few nights with them. So whilst in the Netherlands we stayed with two families and were treated very well, enjoying home cooked meals, fantastic dutch beer and good company. We first travelled to Boukoul to stay with Peter, Ingeborg (Dad's cousin) and their family Maud(14), Hugo(12) and Twan(10).

... about the length of Southend High Street. Pretty cool. Nina then drove us round the sights of the more far-flung variety, showing us a gorgeous pink castle in the outskirts of Dusselfdorf, and onto a tiny village called Zors. This place is seriously old - so much so that the whole thing is listed, nothing can be changed! It was pretty cool. ... isn't popular with Asian tourists because it looked like they had never seen one before! I only saw two backpackers during my time there. All we did that night was go out for dinner. We got stared at all the way to our table. We ordered a beer, an O.J., and non-carbonated water. Instead, we got two beers, apple juice and bubbly water! I couldn't wait to get outta there!
