      ... is a city deep in gray scale - the mist off the lake mutes most of the buildings to white or dull stone colors, and I have yet to see a local wearing anything but black.       ... they asked me if this bar was similar to bars in Canada and I said it was almost the exact same, especially the menu. They had poutine! Can't get more Canadian than that. Eventually many of them started to head home so I headed out too.

      Lausanne is a lot more hilly than I expected. On the way to the Cathedral, I had to stop and rest and take my hoodie off because I started sweating. But it has a killer view! Tomorrow it's a day trip to Bern and then off to Lucerne tomorrow ...
