    ... a disagreement between the Sculptor and the city so he carved the cave that the lion is lying in in the shape of a pig. No doubt it was because he either didn't get paid or they didn't pay him the price that they agreed upon.

    ... we recalled how they used to be in Australia. Very thin, cooked until the crumbs were light brown and nice and tender. Not like the thick, often overcooked version we now seem to have in Australian pubs.

    ... longer due to my complete lack of sleep. We had stayed in a nice hotel at St Moritz but the bed was the hardest bed I have ever attempted to sleep in. They must breed those Alpine skiers tough. The bed made the floor look soft. I was contemplating sleeping on an arm chair at 4am this morning.
