... is the valley, although 1000m up, from which you catch the various means of transportation to the top of Mt Titlus at 3000m. First it was a funicular ( which they don't normally use) straight up the mountain then a pod that seats 6. This went for kilometres over a valley where in summer the cows would graze. Then into a cable car that can hold 80 people. Finally into the revolving cable car - the only one in the world- for the final approach to the top. We were so high ...

... shopping. Walking past the river again, we saw some confused ducks copying the actions of the big swans around them. It was actually really cute! We stopped into a music store, where Karen tried her hand at the ukulele and a keyboard. Our next stop, where we spent the majority of our time, was at a souvenir store. ... It brought back wonderful memories of our trip to Canada and these countries are remarkably similar. We settled into our Hotel and then commenced our happy hour tour on Lake Lucerne. We enjoyed a wine as we cruised by spectacular homes and beautiful churches with the backdrop of snow covered mountains - just wonderful.
