... that looked like gingerbread houses, sitting along the river. Each village had at least one large old Cathedral, and a castle sitting up on the mountain slope overlooking the town. Many of the towns are situated below vineyards that are on the impossibly steep mountain sides.

... and I am feeling it today, just a little sore! I did all the course expect the Black Dragon. To start that course you had to climb up a high rope, I gave a good attempt but I haven't climbed a rope in years and after a good couple hours of climbing all over I didn't have the energy left to do it either. ... in the afternoon for lake Geneva. The drive was very scenic with amazing views of the alps. Upon arriving at lake Geneva, we stopped at Clarens for a dip in the lake, then drove through Montreaux. We are stopped at a motorway Aire between Montreaux and Lausanne for the night.
