... was full with Mercedes, BMWs, Audis from some distances away. I took some photos around the airfield for nostalgic purposes. The arena and curling rink at Baden appear to be operating as well. The former PMQ patch is a going concern. We had hoped to have lunch in Hugelsheim at either the Schwann or the Hirsch but both are temporarily closed. We had a great meal at the Grunner Baum across from the Schwann. We have been seeing a lot of such temporary closures. ...

Their system is designed such that things are mailed to you ahead of time, and you set off on your European Adventure with your pass all sorted out. ... some of the sales about. We were beginning to get a bit hungry, so we were in search of a park to eat our little picnic lunch we'd brought along. Unfortunately since we hadn't done any research of the actual city area...we didn't realise the Rhine river was super close to us at that point (we thought we had to catch another train).... So we ended up eating our food beside the bus exchange haha trying to keep it away from the damn wasps lurking about!
After lunch we continued ...
