Niagara Falls and the last days of Green Tortoise
The drive from Lake Erie wasn't too long and we stopped at Allegany State Park to Camp at Willow Bay. Normally this 'bay' is full but due to the dry weather the water levels were about 20 feet down leaving the banks exposed with mud, rocks and long submerged tree trunks visible over wide expanses. The bush above the normal water levels is a lovely woodland, with tall trees holding dense foliage up high and little undergrowth making it dark but easy ...
Shem In The Mist!
... she "didn't remember"!! We did however pass the Hart & Huntington tattoo shop (Pink and her husband) so made plans to pop back later that day to have a look. We had a couple of beers, I was going ok at BlackJack but then managed to donate most of my winnings from Vegas back into the US gaming industry.

Overnight with a view
I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!
