In Jordan
... nice there was not even a little coral, just a plain sandy bottom with a few crabs. I figured that I could probably do with a swim after all the Middle-Eastern deserts I had been eating so I just had a bit of a swim instead of a snorkel. Dinner was a very plain and limited buffet at the hotel but it was nice to eat without having to go anywhere.
The next day we got up at 7:30 (not a time associated with holidays) and met our taxi driver for our trip to Petra. ...

UPDATE
So i was planing on going to Egypt (hence why i can see it across the red sea BUT i met some really awesome German girls with a rental car who invited me to join them in there adventures around jordan.... Soooo I'm not sure what i will do when i wake up! guess time will tell!

The Road to Jordan....
... right by the hotel that served local food so we all headed there. It was a great suggestion - they started off with serving us loads of fresh bread, hummus and various salads, then for mains they brought out big shallow dishes with lamb cooked in tomato and another cooked in yogurt and then big plates of mixed grill.
