... very worried and was hoping I was not going to be subjected to an internal examination. I was praying hard! The supervisor came back and repeated the test with the same results. You can imagine how I was feeling. He decided to clean his equipment but still the same results. It was just like border security! I was beginning to panic inside. Finally he cleaned them again and at last it came back all clear. A report was written and I was concerned there may ...

... a great week staying at Bruce's beautiful home in the city and house up in the Blue Mountains. We strolled around downtown Sydney and drove up along the coast to see Bondi Beach. Sydney is a nice city with about four million people. It is very clean and organized. The girls were a bit put off by the pushiness of many of the other parade-goers, and (wisely or not) I told Alyssa not to be surprised if she experienced some of the same when we visit Beijing. There will be no shortage of crowds for much of the remainder of our trip. If nothing else, perhaps seeing the sheer volume of people around the world will help to give our girls some perspective about our place in it.

... The ferry takes about 11 – 12 hours and you arrive in Greece. You then either stay the rest of the night in a hotel in the port area or head to the Corfu ferry to head over to the island. This takes about 2hrs. On the island, there is a transfer to the hotel. Getting back to the mainland of Greece is a simple as getting on the ferry and making the 2hr trip back.
