The game eventually finished with Brazil winners 7-1, Brazil scoring a consolation goal at the end. Shock throughout the football world, not so much at the defeat but at the nature of the type and amount of the defeat.

During the previous evening, Rog had invited us all over to his place for dinner for this evening. This put us in a difficult situation as we were staying with Yaz and Nora and wanted to ...

... evening... The other girls treated themselves to steak and a surf and turf for $27... Slightly out of my price range but I managed to get an awesome steak sandwich for $12.50... Still a treat and quenched my craving for red meat! After a short ferry ride we arrived back at circular quay and trained it back to the hostel... Didn't fancy walking alone in the dark. We had an early night as we were all so tired, but tomorrow should be a good day in the sun! ...

... to do some laundry because we had pretty much everything dirty! My dad and I went to the supermarket to buy things for dinner.

We bought some ready to go meals, a whole chicken and some salads. We had a great first dinner in our new apartment in Sydney! It was nice to spend this time with my parents!

I also contacted Barbara and Caitlin. Barbara said that she could come to our apartment, while Caitlin unfortunately couldn’t make it. Since we were a little bit ...
