... area started as trappers and as the economy for hides declined they moved to cattle. However there was insufficient grazing along with the hay needs they had for the severe winters. Therefore the folks started taking in extended tourists for hunting, fishing, and horseback trips into the mountains to meet their economic needs. ... there so they stay dry and are easy to get to during a night time restroom stroll. Well....the boxes were gone when we went to put on our dry shoes! Our little shoe boxes had floated out from under Charlotte, down the recently added campsite river and docked about a quarter mile away!
