... meant at least 3 more miles until home. The park road turns left onto our property via a dead end road, I sprinted the whole way back. I think that my lungs expanded from the rapid elevation change yesterday on Jackson peak.

After I got home I walked around to cool off and took a shower. I went out to Teton Thai with Rob and Will, then Will and I shopped for groceries ...

... Ventre Range, not to mention the large array of different colored wildflowers. We hung out up there for a while and headed down to try and get back to work. We made it through the trip without incident. Even I thought it was fun and would do it again. Abby loved it. Overall it was a safe experience. No worse than a long roller coaster ride. On the way back to town, it rained again. Not a long rain but we were in the bus. As I write this Abby has been asleep for 10 ...

... 2 mile Jackson Lakeshore trail but as usual the part of the lake we wanted to walk around was sodding dry! So instead we climbed down into the lakebed and walked on that instead. Then spent all day driving the 43mile loop around the park stopping at various points to do trails and admire the Tetons. The best stops were at the various lakes which thankfully were full. After a hike at Jenny Lake, Pete took the opportunity ...
