Another rainy day in the Tetons

A travel blog entry by billc507 on Jun 27, 2014

... to the Signal Mountain Lodge. Tomorrow we will be again heading in this direction on our way to the south entrance of Yellowstone. Today we over dozed on scenery even though it was a cloudy day with the mountains often obstructed with clouds and haze. We even saw our first mouse (from a distance). Hopefully no rain on ...

Then spent all day driving the 43mile loop around the park stopping at various points to do trails and admire the Tetons. The best stops were at the various lakes which thankfully were full. After a hike at Jenny Lake, Pete took the opportunity ...

... experience!

New friends, Caroline & Saul and their gorgeous children took us to the rain forest to frolic in the waterfalls and eat some amazing food in a quaint historic town. Our hearts expanded with so much love I thought they would burst. I hope to be as selfless as these souls some day.

From Brazil we flew to Cusco, Peru. Cusco is a fantastic city at approximately 11,200 ft. After drinking several ...
