... had a sack lunch - pretty good. Back on the river we were looking for moose as this was a big moose area. Never saw anything except for eagles. About 15 minutes before the end of the trip, we could see the sky turn black and the river turn color. Finally the rain caught up with us and then pea size hail. ... 2 mile Jackson Lakeshore trail but as usual the part of the lake we wanted to walk around was sodding dry! So instead we climbed down into the lakebed and walked on that instead.
