... time" :) When our guide finally pried us from the sand we got lunch and quintessentially Caribbean pina coladas to wash it down (is there any better drink for the beach? Just give up Corona, it ain't gonna happen). Most of the group snorkeled for a while after lunch but my oddly shaped face (sorry Brittany) didn't fit in any of the masks. Alas I floated with my eyes to the featureless sky while others marveled at the coral below. I'm smiling as I write this; I feel ...

... Colon for $5 or a minute water taxi across to Isla Caranero for $2. Easy decision. We jump on the water taxi and scoot across the water to Carenero. We are told the beach is a quick walk around the island so we set off. All the housing are shacks with the only decent buildings ...

Met Mel and had lunch then when got back no one was around! Tried to find people but no joy. Went for a wander but changed my mind and ended up back at hostel and chilled on the roof. Finally found Ivo later he's been cycling with Stefen and French guy and German girl - gutted I ...

The original intention of staying three nights in Bocas was soon transformed into 6 nights =). Apart from chilling at the beach we did not do a lot. One night in bastimientos, the poorest and unsafest island of Bocas, I personally did not like it a lot. Moreover afterwards a girl in the hostel at Bocas town told me that ...
