... to hit another milestone. As we were entering the Canal de Bocas Del Toro there was a clear change in the color of the water. The colors changed from a blue green to a brown color which stretched for miles. One minute we could see the bottom sea floor and then the water was all cloudy. As we carefully crept in towards land the depth finder would jump between 30-50 to 5 feet. In reality the charts showed us that we ...

... island to see some of this funny looking and acting animals hanging in the mangroves. As we were leaving the snorkelling spot a big boat came hurtling towards us full of police. A long story short our lovely Captain was grilled for ages, shouted at and fined a couple of hundred dollars. It all appeared very unnecessary and over nothing (for example one fine was for a passenger manifesto which was at the hostel and not on the boat which as the captain pointed out isn't helpful being on ...

Leesh is not well again with fevers and what we think is another bout of food poisoning, not having much luck. She doesn't get much sleep tossing and turning, needing medication and toilet breaks during the ...

... which was surprisingly fun for a 6 or 7hour journey. We arrived in Panama city with a few dollars in our pocket so we headed to the ATM to no avail, we spent the next 3hours calling 'the bank' to find out why they had blocked our cards and found out after about 10 calls resulting in 'sorry I can't hear you', that we had to call back between 9-5 UK time to get put through to the right 'team'...perfect! We had got carried away trying to unblock the card and had forgotten that ...

... the sand was the trees and driftwood. We got to a high point when the waves didn't reach and sat down for a spot of lunch. I had bread and my 'goober' (Peanut butter and jam mix) plus a grape flavour Fanta! We had just finished when I noticed the sea water roaring towards us. I jumped up and grabbed by bag, Ryan just after, the water had got to my bag but it was just about ok. I quickly got all my camera electronic gear out and got rid ...
