... He greeted us and took us to his apartment he shares with 4 other people. Let's just say no one was too concerned about cleanliness...I started wiping surfaces immediately and would have continued but I couldn't find a clean cloth to wipe with.
We met one of his roommates who came in while we were there - Jaime from Missouri. We had a good chat while Allan and Kenzie caught up with hockey.

It was at the Gold Coast which made for an incredible trip, we got to fly up, stay in fancy hotels, beach it every day and was walking distance to the variety of bars (see hotel review above).

After the fantastic wedding at Byron bay, we travelled to Gold Coast to stay with Ashe's sister Fliss and her boyfriend Rob, for a few nights.
As always the Gold Coast weather was amazing and it was a real treat to walk down a lovely beach, barefoot, in 25 degrees.
The beaches in Australia really are beautiful and our favourites in the whole world and we realise just how lucky we have ...
