... on the plane.
We eventually boarded our new plane around 8.10pm and left about n 8.30pm or so, landed in Sydney around 9.45pm. Our checked baggage took a little time to come through and our shuttle service driver had been hanging around for 2 hours waiting for us - he was half way to the airport when he got the call that the plane was delayed so he decided to stay there !
... playing with a couple of balls and having fun together before I walked on to the Polar Bear enclosure where there are now 2 displays. Both of them had 2 polar bears snoozing, which was all we saw last time, so not very exciting.
Then I went to Shark Bay where there is a giant reef aquarium and went for a ride on a small glass-bottomed boat for about 15 minutes. The keeper gave us a commentary about the different sharks and other fish plus 2 turtles in there, ...
... home. Lunch was so yummy!
After a great afternoon and our goodbyes, we followed Rebecca and Noel to the beach of South Moreton Bay. A very long strip of water opposite which are a variety of old Queenslander and ultra modern homes with magnificent water views. Then through the town leaving them and taking the motorway back to the Gold Coast. A most enjoyable afternoon.

The other guy sitting in the row was probably in his late 50s or early 60s and he was a rough, tough looking guy. He had some tattoos that appeared to be prison tattoos, to my untrained eye. But, I'm not going to judge a person just on there appearance, so we started talking, it was a 6 hour flight after all, so a little conversation ...
