Simone and I spent the whole day in Norwich yesterday. I had my first taste of a cold day so was rugged up well. I have come down with a cold, so so much for my belief in Olive Leaf Tablets. It's not too bad though, just a few sniffles, so maybe they do work. We went into a lot of Charity Shops looking for a parka for me. Finally managed to get a really nice one for 7 pounds. I'm set now. As I am going to leave all the winter clothes here, it would be silly to go on a ...

As we all do, and I will do my best to enjoy my trip because this is where I am supposed to be...for now. There are not many photos for this entry, but I know you will understand. The pictures I have in my head, of my visit with David and Pam, are of their lovely garden, still with so much colour, and ...

... All this we saw but briefly on our trek though the centre to collect our hire car, then it was off across the Norfolk Broads to the cute little farming hamlet of New Buckenham

We found our digs. On the outskirts of the village, down a tiny laneway that led to a vast open network of barley fields. Our accommodation was an old farm workshop, stunningly renovated to chic modern specs, with a private courtyard ...

... roamed free mainly on the road. After a peaceful rest on the village green in Huntingfield I got near to a very attractive lake at Hevingham Hall. Couldn't get too close but took delight in leaning my bike against "private - no bikes sign".

It was only when I approached Blyford that I had a few climbs but they didn't bother me, as I was making good time and not far from my destination. Sooner than expect I arrived in Southwold after doing ...
