... ul>Mark and I went to Fort Flagler for July 4th weekend. It was packed with people from all over. One of our favorite things is to ride our bikes and look at all of the license plates on the vehicles and campers. We like to see how many are from out of state.

We really enjoyed Fort Flagler. It offers great trails for riding bikes (you share with the hikers). It was a lot of fun exploring the old ...

It's huge and the tail opens like a door so that the 787 pieces can slide in and out on conveyors!

In the late afternoon we drove to Bellevue on the eastern side of Lake Washington. We visited the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The drive back to Seattle at sunset was amazing. We had dinner in Seattle at Von's, fantastic food!
Everett, Washington, United States smchic92... great vistas along cliffs. This weekend is the Oyster Run with 100s of bikes entertaining the local populace.
Mt Baker and neighbors spring up with snow-covered summits from time to time. The temp hovers from 68 - 74F in these lowlands.
Would not be hard to spend a week here, with orca and bird watching and the mountain roads.
Later in the program we shared the pulpit to talk about the significance of John Woolman in today's world and to talk a bit about our walk. There seems to be a lot of interest in this region about local organic foods--and why not, when many can be grown here year-round. After lunch at ...
Port Townsend, Washington, United States peaceforearth... bridge on I-5 (despite the sign prohibitting it) - NOT going to happen, so we worked around by carrying our bikes through a field, over a barbed wire fence and through a patch of stinging nettles before crossing over to the bridge that does NOT have cars going 60 miles an hour with no room to pass. Another lost a wallet and had to go back and scramble around town to find it (hence the lateness), with each pod piling up stories ...

We definitely controlled the play and tempo of the game. Each of the lines that we have scored 2 goals and ...

Seattle, Washington, United States stevefn... through this port was exceeded only by the port of New York. Then the Union Pacific Railway Company started operations.
