We settled in for the night in the parking lot and will take off tomorrow to visit Brother/Son Bret in Brodnax, Virginia. Looking forward to meeting his chickens. Once we arrived at BWI, the next step was getting to McGuire. We could rent a car or take a bus but preferred to catch a free flight. The flight to McGuire only had five seats advertised so we were pleasantly surprised when the ticket agent said we would have no problem getting on. He told us this flight is often empty and in fact, the aircraft had 32 seats.

The Visitor's Center was cool with all the historical information on the War of 1812 included, and then you went into an area where you saw a 10-minute film on the battle. At the end of the film, they suddenly raise a curtain and reveal the "the star spangled banner" waving in front of you over Fort McHenry while they play the National Anthem....very moving!
