I was losing hope of seeing snow this season. I longed for the big fluffy white flakes and the corn flour crunch under foot. There is something about snow that make my heart flutter, and no matter the scene, it transforms it into something magical. May 31st was my Dad’s birthday, this is the 2nd
one without him and we were all thinking of him on the day. There were emails
back and forth from Mum and Shannon. My lovely cousins were thinking of us,
with Melanie also sending me a nice text. Life has had some big ups and downs
in the last few years and Dad’s passing certainly changed my life ...

... see to work, we settled in to a very comfortable room. We went outside to the supermarket to buy some milk. Unfortunately we bought yoghurt. The metro station is very close and we took a look at how it worked. Again, once inside you have to pass through the pay gates. We turned back through the entrance! Tomorrow we have a mornings trip to see the sites. Tomorrow evening is the operant the Mariinsky theatre. The evening meal in the Kandinsky restaurant was ...
