... were great especially once at the top. One of the pluses of receiving our local paper on line whilst overseas is that we can read tomorrow's news before we go to sleep, but I am looking forward to bring able to grab the toilet paper without dislocating my shoulder! Looking forward to catching up with you all when we return. PS I made a mistake and sent the wrong ...

There is something about snow that make my heart flutter, and no matter the scene, it transforms it into something magical. We had a little hail/sleet/snow flurry about a week ago which I adored....then last night as I walked past our hall window something magical caught my eye. The familiar topsy turvy decent of snow flakes, real, proper, big fluffy ones - just ...

Arrived at Eagles Rest at Siavonga around 19:20, quick shower (much needed an appreciated), the off to the Beach Bar for a Mosi beer and some food. Room is great; en suite, aircon, and even a little kitchen annex for self catering, if that's your thing. Turned in early (09:30),shattered. Off to see the Kariba Dam ...

May 31st was my Dad’s birthday, this is the 2nd
one without him and we were all thinking of him on the day. There were emails
back and forth from Mum and Shannon. My lovely cousins were thinking of us,
with Melanie also sending me a nice text. Life has had some big ups and downs
in the last few years and Dad’s passing certainly changed my life ...

After 12 years, we've ended up back in our old stomping ground at the YHA in Streatley on Thames. Stars aligned somehow and the manager needed assistants, so we thought...'why not??'. I am yet to officially start however as I have to wait for my residence permit (which seems like a lot of red tape and waiting time) but otherwise, we've been here for about 3 weeks now, settling in and Eddie has been working hard! We ...
