As the dead of winter approaches, it's very easy to lose track of time. The sun is up late and when the day dawns dark and cold with heavy rain clouds it's difficult to feel any urgency to leap out of bed. The weather forecast for the entire UK suggests zero chance of snow for Christmas so we will just have to plan another holiday further north!

Hello everyone!! So yes, after reading my last blog entry you probably assumed that my blogging days were over, however, you would be mistaken!! ... York. Und als wir dort ankamen war ich erst mal überwältigt. So viel Trubel hab ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Letztendlich waren mehr als 150 Boote am Start.
Als Erstes wurde unser Rennboot fertig machen und um 9 hieß es dann Boat time.
Als Aufwärmprogramm sind wir die 3000 m zum Startbereich gerudert. Dort hieß es dann erst mal warten. Da stieg auch langsam die Anspannung und das lange Sitzen in so nem Rennboot ist echt unbequem:-)
Aber dann erfolgte der Start ...
