... then many! I stood transfixed as I always do when snow falls!

The irony for me is that we had a mini holiday booked and I knew that even though I'd be waking to the wonder of settled snow, I'd have to walk through it and get on a train which would take me away from it!!!! But I enjoyed it while I could. I couldn't sleep much, kept hopping up to look out the window...and woke early to get ready to meander through the villages.

I can only cross my fingers for more :) ...

Hey hey! Weirdly, it has been a month since I boarded that plane and embarked on this adventure ✈

So this week I had the joy of discovering daytime tv, seeing as I spent the week in bed with the flu... :( really not my week, but I've recovered fully and am well-rested. Thank goodness the Australian Open was on TV - though I was very disappointed in Federer for not going to the end...

... Well with just over a month to go, I've decided to tone down the training walks a touch....I simply don't want to peak to soon (ha,ha!!). Future walks will be maybe once or twice a week, but of the longer variety.............plus the golf, of course!!

... back very happy memories of St Stephens some long time ago, particularly as the closing song was "Thine Be The Glory", a favourite for many years.
