... turtles were to be seen Nothing to do with things coming out of the water in Lakes Entrance. I think I am being a bit too heavy on the brackets keys today perhaps I ought to include a few more exclamation marks instead !! Yes, the turtles were there and many of them. We didn't know what they were all up to and will not tell you what crossed our minds as it might worry the younger readership. Open brackets, is there really anyone reading this who doesn't have a bus ...

... we are off to Scotland! We plan to spend 6 nights in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, before returning to Peterborough on the 5th. We'll change the suitcase and then we're off on the plane to Portugal! I'm desperate for some sun and beaches so I think this trip will go down very well :P

Well I hope everyone has a safe and lovely Easter break - don't eat too much chocolate!!

Why? Why not? I've been fascinated with weather since I was a kid - I'd race to the window to watch a storm go overhead, I'd sit and watch snowflakes for hours. I'm an outdoor girl and thus, the weather comes with it.

Where? Wherever the storms go. I'm flying into Denver, Colorado and then from there we will go wherever the potential for severe weather goes for 10 days starting on the 1st June. There's a couple of ...

... unaware. To be fair, I had turned my back on Steve so he couldn't see me struggling.........if I was gonna die, it wouldn't be of embarrassment!! Anyway, one last attempted swallow and John West's best was,mercifully, gone and normal service was resumed. In effect, I saved myself and Steve.........finished his lunch!

But all choking apart (geddit?), Steve and I really enjoyed ...

... get showered and dressed in a very cold boat without the need to stand in front of a source of heat. Saying that, I did enjoy the hot shower.

We set off for the Easter day communion service at St Luke's and the canal water, as usual, was frozen. We really didn't think it would unfreeze today. The service was good, the little church was quite full and we got quite a warm welcome. The songs were from Songs of Fellowship ...
