Oh dear - so soon? The horrid travel day has reared its ugly head. We aren't very good at travel days ... We tend to spend a fair bit of time planning for them but something invariably goes wrong. Today we found out we hadn't booked the hire car! We had decided that the easiest way to get a hire car for this trip was to get one from Heathrow. It was exciting northern Scotland going to Aberdeen, inverneness, Stirling,Dundee and the locks. TheLocks is where Nessie lives. We started off in Dundee and had loads of fun going go karting and then in Aberdeen we saw Jurassic park and for me it was the the best movie ever. In Inverness we just stayed their and searched for Nessie the next day and in Stirling just rested. We got to Nottingham 2 days ago and ready to go to ...

Over the weekend I will travel over 21,500 miles (or 34,700 kilometres) by aeroplane so the 13.5 kilometre (8.3 mile) run should be a real doddle.
