Short and busy 12 day trip for my 2 week vacation in third year of residency. Initially decided to visit sister in SFO but since it's been 4 years she visited India, we both planned to visit at the same time, co-incidentally for Pranav's 5th birthday. Days went by very fast hanging out with friends, cousins and finally birthday event. Birthday event was a grand success with good turn out of people from both Maringanti and Satuluri ...

She wasn't able to because she was afraid her computer would **** down but she did turn off the lights leaving the door open for outside light. Eventually I was able to fall ...

... sad". Obviously I hugged it. I like quirky things like this.  Sayantan and Matija think we are crazy for hugging the tree because of the ants, and definitely crazy for being so obsessed with the dogs.  As the walking tour was ending hours later Sayantan showed us a shopping complex on campus where we could always stop and get food, books, make copies, etc. That was good to know. It was a straight shot from our place. About a 20 minute straight shot? Something like ...

... did not start until 6:00 p.m. but there were 12 of us so we had to start early. I was first to get my costume and wig put on which was a bad idea because I immediately developed a headache from the tight string around my forehead. Nonetheless, I pushed through and had my makeup professionally done as well as the head jewelry and flowers placed atop. It was so much fun being behind the ...
