... to avoid the Old City of Hyderabad and keep away from the U.S. Embassy. The Old City is where Charminar and Golconda Fort are located in which I traveled to in July. The Old City of Hyderabad has a high Muslim population and may react negatively towards American tourists. Until the unrest comes to an end, we are advised to travel in groups (which I do anyways) and travel with taxi's instead of rickshaws.
