So we arrived in Aarhus about 9am, and felt suprisingly fresh. It was pouring rain so we stayed in the train station and explored the shopping centre there while waiting for it to subside. There we bumped into our Danish language teacher Maiken (we are becoming local, running into acquantainces). All in all, we had a great time with our new friend and plan to visit him in Hamburg at some point in the fall.

To make the weekend even better, the ...

... me. Great. I ask them if they speak English, and thankfully they do. They looked at the schedule board and asked me if I was headed to Copenhagen and I replied yes, after which they sighed, shook their heads, and grumbled to each other about their train system. I asked them where I should go while I waited, and they said I could stay there if I wanted, but they preferred I go into a 24-hour mart around the corner where at least I wouldn’t be alone. ...
