Moving in to Rovinj
Today we were leaving Porec and heading to our new apartment in Rovinj. Our apartment was not going to be ready until the afternoon so we had a couple of hours to stroll through Porec again. Hotel Valamar
... quiet streets, Roman ruins and temples, Baroque period homes, Venetian mask shops and loads of cute kittens romping in the streets. Compared to southern Croatia, we felt very much a home here. This is more our kinda traveling, with nooks and crannies to explore, the calm and clear sea to quiet our souls and open spaces to play in. We can tell already that Istria is full of the natural wonders and surprises we enjoy.
