    Today we travelled from Ljubjlana to Trieste via Go-Opti bus. After the beautiful scenery and steetscapes of Ljubjlana Trieste was a bit of a disappointment, but it's just a stop-over to Venice.     We had cocktails in the bar downstairs at Happy Hour but after consuming a couple realised that the spritz's were the only drinks cheaper, that'd be right!! The Bar Tender was a champion cocktail maker and goes every year to the Ice Hotel where the competition is held, very interesting man.

    ... town had so much interesting architecture over the centuries and new influences changed things. Visited an olive oil farm too. Learnt how to taste it properly . The owner said NZ olive oil is very good. Rovinj is described as a little jewel with a fortified town which has little streets which seem to go round and round . Huge number of tourists here.
