Again it was boiling out here and I was suffering in all this heat. Being a
Scotsman I'm just not use to temperatures like this ;-)
While walking around here in the marina I realised it was not a normal day
here and that something was happening and after wandering further I discovered
it was "Harbour Day". This apparently happens once every year and everything
from the ships to the cranes and factories in the area are open to the ...
... with distinctive, colourful buildings, some of which featured heavy beams in a mock-Tudor style. Some of the walls leaned slightly and made you think of the “little crooked house”. At 9.30am we still had half an hour before the shops opened, but it gave us a good chance to have a look around the maze of attractive little streets.

Up we went and as we had to get our flight in Frankfurt on the 28th, this year we were not celebrating in Skallerup Klit, but in Aalborg. I like, as long as we´re together!
