There was a ground level bit with cabinet displays and explanatory boards and then we went down below to the bunker and then out to the gun emplacement. 8 May - Staying next to Denmark's largest in land body of water; it has a 600Km cycle route around it...we set out to do 10 after parking up, but ended up doing 22Km after following Route 12 around the historical midden and bird sanctuary.

Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town.
