Since my last blog, Ive left Holland, been through Germany
and am now on the North (ish) coast of Denmark heading towards the ferry port
      to get to Norway.

On my way through Germany I had a very brief, spur of the
moment stop in Hamburg. It was never my intention to stop in Hamburg, but when
the sat nav pretty much decided to take me through the centre, I decided that
this trip was made for such spur of the moment decisions, ...

Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. Next morning they kindly invited us back to their home to experience a typical Danish menu and home. Normally I would have jumped at the opportunity of such an invitation but I initially hesitated with ...

... or so miles on I look in the satnav and see what hotels are in the
area and just as many times before it comes up with "Best Western" and so i head
      for that.
As usual the hotel was grand but extremely busy but I got a nice quiet room
      with tea/coffee the lot.
My plan tomorrow is to make up as many miles as possible and simply head
down the motorway towards Amsterdam. I plan to get passed Hamburg as that is
about half way but hopefully I will get even ...
