... city really isn’t very much time
at all! Still, I made the most of the mini adventure in Hamburg! Maybe one day
Ill do a city break there!
My plan for the next day was to visit Sylt, an exclusive
German island near the Danish border, which came highly recommended by a
friend. Checking the maps, it looked like there was a spit of land connecting
Sylt with its neighbouring Danish island, Romo. So I made sure the sat nav ...
Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. During the summer it is also a tourist town. Very quaint houses - likely many are vacation rentals. Then we headed back south to Aalborg where we will stay overnight before taking the ferry to Sweden tomorrow ...

around and send it downwards to gain speed once again. What a great experience
Apart from all the excitement of cranes and ...
I absolutely adore Aalborg! It is not a tourist part of Denmark by any means but it is wonderful. The people are so lovely and friendly, it is very safe and clean, the night life is great, it is beautiful and the food!...... I don't think the food gets any better than it does in Denmark!
I have been here twice already but plan on going many more times and hope, one day to go on a more permanent basis :-)
