... 4euros for 2 hours – should give me enough time to have a stroll and
see what I can see. So, I pop the ticket in the windscreen, and before I shut
the door it disappears down the air vent! RAGE! So, now hot and flustered after
having driven through a crazy city centre, I fetch my tool box (thanks Merve J ) and set about
unscrewing the front panel to see if I can find it. I should be so lucky! So,
using the last of my change, I ...

Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. During the summer it is also a tourist town. Very quaint houses - likely many are vacation rentals. Then we headed back south to Aalborg where we will stay overnight before taking the ferry to Sweden tomorrow ...

I absolutely adore Aalborg! It is not a tourist part of Denmark by any means but it is wonderful. The people are so lovely and friendly, it is very safe and clean, the night life is great, it is beautiful and the food!...... I don't think the food gets any better than it does in Denmark!

I have been here twice already but plan on going many more times and hope, one day to go on a more permanent basis :-)

... north of Hvide Sande. This delightful little site consisted of 3 little open huts overlooking the fjiord and a little boat harbour. It also had an extremely clean toilet and shower($2) to use which was also shared with the little fishing huts closeby. One of the other shelters was already occupied by a lovely young Danish family-Lone(pronounced Lona) and Martin, with their 2 gorgeous little blonde haired girls- Laura(6) and Milla(4). They lived only about 20km away ...

... From here I could see the entrance to the port and just about every boat
and restaurant in the whole marina and beach area. One thing I did notice was
that there seemed to be a large number of historic and unusual ships arrived
    overnight.
At about 10am I checked out and with bike all loaded I headed off for a
short trip along the coast. With not much to be seen I returned to the hotel and
walked across the road to find myself a a cold drink or ...
