... home we have a relaxing couple of hours cleaning up a spilled cup of hot coffee and an entire bowl of dog food! Our big blockhead Lab, Molly seemed to make sure she got in the way much more than usual. She hung her head at the rare scolding she received. She is a very good girl 99.99% of the time and all is forgiven.

Tomorrow we are heading up to Salem for four nights, then to Silverton.

OK, enough of the babble- back to scrubbing the carpet.

... who ultimately has enough and hangs up repeatedly. It was so nice when they finally fell asleep..or I was going to suggest to her that detraining in San Francisco might be the best for her safety and our sanity! This morning, they were back at their battle. I feel bad for her as it must be so frustrating having to listen to this on a daily basis. Thankfully their plans do not include an Alaskan cruise tomorrow! Whew what a relief!

... the poor Suzuki rider. One of them chimed in “I have a puncture repair kit and an air pump”. FWIW, it wasn’t the Gold Wing rider. We left the five of them to the repairs and headed on.

Coming into Oregon we began to notice that the mountains were in a haze. The skies would be hazy all day but we never smelled smoke.

In all our recent travels, there are a couple of constants that always hold true.

1. No matter how nice the trip, we are ALWAYS happy to come home and sleep in our own bed.
2. We both really enjoy seeing new places, and experiencing new cultures. But it also reinforces how lucky we are to live in the most beautiful corner of the world.....Oregon, USA.
3. Don is horrible on travel days, and Florence is a saint to put up with ...
