... t waste your money on the Padres winning a world series any time soon. The Emeralds are terrible.

The stadium was pretty impressive, and situated on the University of Oregon campus. Also the temperature jumped about 20 degrees from what it was on the coast which was the perfect excuse for Les to treat herself to a snow cone. Even though Florence assures me that I did fine, and by the end both navigator and driver were actually competent. But as I told Florence on the drive home from Portland....I now know why I like cruises so much, you wake up at your next destination without an effort on my part and no packing ...

Another nice day in Eugene, we had many chores to get done before leaving tomorrow. Had to retrieve Bill's credit Card from the day before. Gassed up the Van it costs over $100 each time and that is not filling it the whole 35 gallons. Picked up a few more things for the trip at Fred Meyers. Had a delicious sandwich at The Healthy Café, washed and vacuumed the Van .

We got back at Rita’s ...
