... so at least some of our stuff made it to another home and not the trash. Luckily again, I didn't have to say goodbye but tomorrow at the airport might be tough. We're so glad we met them this summer and have got to spend so much time with them. They definitely fill a big spot in our Japan memories.
Chris and I took brief naps our last night and it was time for him to catch his 5:30am taxi before we knew it. Once he was off I tried to get some more sleep but I got woken ...

... of the hill and saw another person watching so we figured we weren't trespassing. Once we were half way up we figured why stop there and made the trek to the summit. We were again unsure if this area was off-limits since we were the only spectators at the top but no one said anything. This gave us a great vantage point of what the skiers see from the start, which really makes you appreciate the guts they have to fling themselves down a mountain at a high rate ...

... until 5pm. Lol. The ramen stall's portion was huge, which we enjoyed since we were so famished. Then we went back to the train station to go to the shopping street. The street was pretty nice and I bought my pair of winterwear shoes. Also bought rockmelon and a strawberry break on the way. Was so tired but still continued on to the Sapporo Factory. To be honest, it was boring and the goods ...

... I was in Sapporo was during the winter festival in 2008. That was an awesome experience seeing what could be carved out of tons of snow and ice. This trip was great too and allowed me to see a different side of Sapporo and Hokkaido island. ......I may travel to Hokkaido one more time......I hear the beach combing amazing!!

... school and then back down again. Rinse and repeat. No teachers about at all. Just kids instructing each other. They then started doing press ups so i HAD to join in. After 30 they gave up so i did a few more to show off - they're kids, but i've still got to show them who's the best!
