... The rings on the rocks created by the tides and waves were about 20-30 feet above the ground. We walked down the beach to the end of the accessible area and then circle back to see the flower pot rocks. These ones have eroded in such a way that they are shaped like flower pots toward the top and then with trees and other vegetation on top it looks like there are plants growing in a pot. ... I have to wake or climb over. Not so bad! I enjoyed a nice relaxing pedicure this afternoon, so the toes and feet are soft, smooth and shiny. I'm super relaxed and just waiting patiently for departure. The best part is that because of all the planning, lists, and organization, I don't sit here on the eve of the trip thinking that there's something I've forgotten. Let's hope that feeling doesn't strike just as we go "wheel's up" out of the Saint John airport tomorrow ...

... to Edmunston New Brunswick on the fifth.  Now we were starting to notice a change in the weather.  The skies were darkening, the winds picking up and the rain beginning to hit us.  It was just the outer edge of tropical storm Arthur.  We got a room in the Sheraton which was quite nice but a bus load of seniors arrived at the same time so the service in the restaurant was slow and terrible all night.  We did not really care that much as Monica and ...

... be organizing our Oyster Cards for tube transport while in London. It seems like the most economical way to travel when you plan on utilizing public transport. My research tells me that the line to purchase them at Heathrow Airport can be quite lengthy, so that should fill a portion of our waiting time. With everything well in hand, I can now sit back and enjoy the anticipation. Less than eleven weeks ...

There is no cell phone reception in Canada for American phones. The best I can hope for is WiFi and it leaves a lot to be desired. The country is beautiful but the roads are terrible. Even the "interstate' is really rough. So far everyone has been really friendly, they take Visa in most places and American money.
