... and the statues always guard the entrances of temples for the same reason. They initially look scary but many are often dressed in sarongs and have flowers in their ears as they are worshiped protectors...they even get their own personalised offerings too!

... very roly and not comfortable anchorage so headed out to join the others at Gili Air. Fantastic spot, Apa Lagi had tried to save a mooring but was taken before we got there. Hadn’t realised it was so close and when Rebecca rang to ask if that was us coming in, I was sure she had it wrong as we had just left the anchorage! ... to the accommodation while the rest of us caught up (my bag was surprisingly heavy). When we got there we realised it wasn't actually where we were staying and for the second time this holiday we had to trek to some different accommodation. We jumped on a Cimodo and got yanked all over the show on the way to our villa.
