... room was on a very high floor, and the view was pretty good looking out over Jakarta. The facilities in the room were really luxurious, and the although the bathroom door was a type that didn't give enough privacy, we had shared a room for long enough now to be able to not worry about these things. We headed almost immediately down the pool. She joked that I should use the children's pool. Hahaha .. yeah, learning swimming is something that is on a very high ...

... kind of spooky. Have you ever been in a quiet, empty hotel? I wandered the grounds and encountered numerous staff, but no other guests. At one point in the evening I saw and heard a lounge singer in the lobby bar. She was singing to nobody. I was tempted to sit for awhile just so she would have an audience, but...I didn't.

After working in the room for a couple of hours I headed downstairs and asked the concierge if there was any place I could walk in the area, ...

... made the dinning experience a whole new kind of fun. I ordered a drink called the café de avocate, unsurprisingly a combination of coffee, milk and avocado, which was delicious all be it rich. For a main I ordered staghetti, a combination of sate chicken and spaghetti. This was an incredibly flavorsome meal and probably one of the hottest chili flavors I’ve had in Indonesia. After lunch I went to go for an innocent window shop that as you ...
