... a holy site based around water and being outdoors- who could ask for better? There were some intricately carved shrines, with thatched roofs over them within the temple grounds, but the space for worshippers was all out in the open. Because it is an active holy site, we were all, men and women, given sarongs to wrap around our legs, and I put on my rain coat to over my shoulders and arms.

... if you're carrying bananas; the little buggers come out to nowhere and have no reservations at jumping and clawing on/at you to get to them...I let Kelly hold onto them! The forest was gorgeous and it felt like we were walking through an abandoned temple that had become overgrown. Kelly got flattened by a few Macaques and one chose me as it's victim..ransacking my bag (my new Cath Kidston bag!) and all Kelly could do was laugh and liken me to Jane from Tarzan :P We ...

... hours. I used to change clothes as soon as I got home because I couldn't stand the germs from the subways and pollution of the streets. I never went on my bed with my street clothes. My clothes went into a laundry hamper after being worn for a day. These days, I walk barefoot in the streets. Ants crawl on the floor of my room. My bed sheet is covered in beach sand. ... we headed down to the beach area to eat at one of the restaurants along there. We decided to go back to Tékor Bali because I had eyed the tacos the night before. Maybe it wasn't the most authentic Balinese food but it was really really good. We had calamari to share and then got tuna tacos. Those were probably the greatest tuna tacos I've ever had. Definitely coming back at least one more time to have them. Tmw we get back to the beach and get some surfing in! Cannot ...
