... t walk any further, but he made it. The car arrived about 3.15 so we headed off and got all checked in. We had to leave the immigration line as we hadn't realised there were departure forms that needed completing - though we were then directed to the automatic passport gates and no one actually checked the forms, we just put them into a postbox! We ate in the lounge and Ed got another 13 storey tree house book and cards with our last Aussie dollars, ...

He recommended going up north to Chiang Mai instead of going onto Cambodia which was our original plan. He also claimed that he could take our passports to the Embassy and have them sent up to us in Chiang Mai within the next week. All sounded very dodgy. After a long time when we finally left us ...

A travel blog entry by eddlauren on May 10, 2015

... it felt like midnight again – and had a 2.5 hour nap.
5pm came and we were feeling a bit more human. I was starving, so we got dressed, went to find Edd’s friend and went up to the local on the corner of our hostel. We knew the food was good as we’d eaten there 2 months earlier, so there would be no hit or miss on what we ordered.
I ordered a red curry dish with rice; Edd and his friend ordered fried rice dishes with pork. ...
