      ... still wanted to come back to this one. I think it was because she was here and it's a better atmosphere. But there is only a few tables so we were lucky to get one. She told us that over the last few years Chiang Mai has been heavily developed and her profits have fallen as the 7/11's, McDonald's and BK's move into town! Seems a shame.       ... how much they would cost... and how dodgy we would have looked carrying in bread and cheese to our posh hotel, so we decided against it, although we did have German sausages and sauerkraut for dinner one night.
