    Great Spot, Scary Practices

    from

It is true that this hotel is great for its location and options. But be weary of recent hotel staff. I had requested a room several months back for its view and location. After several comfirmations of its reservation, I arrived to find that they had given it away and put me in a bad location. They did finally come through with a decent accomodation. But only after going to the top and after having the blame be put all on my shoulders, before they discovered they had given it away. I also witnessed several individuals having trouble with the staff charging them for extra stays in their hotel. It hurt our vacation time because we had to spend time fighting for our original room.

    Right on the beach!

    from

We stayed at the Surftides this spring and we found it very nice. We stayed on the first floor, so the beach was right outside our patio door.

    We would stay here again.

    Romantic

    from

My wife and I have been going to the Surftides for over 20 years. We love it! Close to the Casino, right on the beach and the best restaurant in town right next door! Pick bottom to be on the beach or upper floors views are excellent looking out into the ocean. Swimming pool and spa, lots for a family or just a couple for a romantic weekend.

    Beautiful

This hotel has been the greatest out of all I've stayed in! The view was magnificent, the pool and hot tub was great and the food was delicious. The staff was very helpful and generous. I definately recommend this experience to everyone. You won't regret it!

What A View!! And What Service!!

    from

Surftides Beach Resort!! What can I say not much ,Surftides speaks for itself. We have been going to Surftides Beach Resort for many years and each visit is even better than the last. Service is "Great", staff very friendly and polite. So if you want a memorable stay at the "Coast" Give Surftides Beach Resort a call.

    What a view

    from

we have been staying here for years, our family too,the 1st floor is the way to go,it's like you're right in the ocean.GREAT BEACH ACCESS.AWESOME FOOD AT KEY WEST RESTAURANT!

    Awesome family weekend getaway

    from

Perfect for a family getaway with easy and low beach access! The view is awesome!!. So relaxing.

    The perfect honeymoon getaway!

    from

We stayed in one of the in-room jacuzzi suites on our honeymoon in 1994 and returned to the same room in summer of 2002. We loved it both times and the only changes that were made were made for the better. The staff is warm and friendly and the room was as wonderful as we remembered it to be. The facilities are kept very clean and the room service was excellent. We plan to return once a year from now on!

    Great and relaxing

    from

My family have stayed at this hotel for years. But their recent renovation makes the place even better. The location and the beach access is unbeatable on the coast. For my elderly parents or my little kids, the access is safe and short from the room. The hotel is also situated on a large piece of property so you don't feel cramped in with a bunch of parking lots or other hotels. Some of the units have kitchenettes so you can cook your own breakfast and lunch and go to the on-site restaurant for dinner. It's close to the main grocery store for added convenience. We recommend it highly!

    ... only. They
give out champagne to the three couples that have been on the most cruises out
of everyone on the ship. One couple has done 50 cruises! Insane! And it meant
over 700 something days cruising! So that was interesting and that is where I
get to meet most staff and officers.

After that we got ready for Stardust which is the current cast’s very last show
together. They did a great job at both of their shows and it was really fun for

... living, but yesterday our job really started, the premiere of our first show! We had a dress rehearsal at noon and it went alright, not the best for me. And after about 3:15 we had off until our show! So I showered and tried to take an hour nap but I just had the show songs stuck in my head. Natalie and I spent a good amount of time sitting out on the deck near the buffet for dinner. It was so beautiful outside. It is crazy to me that since getting on the ship it has just ...

... very hot brakes. Only saw a couple of other RV's but not one commercial truck. Shortly after went through the lowest spot in North America - 200 ft below sea level. Over 8,000 feet to minus 200 ft in 15 miles. After we got to the top on the other side (8000+ ft) the descent was spread out over a whole state - much more respectable! Stopped in the outskirts of Reno for a night, had a beautiful drive to Mt Shasta through towering forests and ...

... So to bring you up-to-date, we have been touring around the Oregon coast the last two days. We hiked into a suspension bridge and waterfall, drove up to Cannon beach, toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and stopped at numerous overlooks and enjoyed the great view of the Pacific ocean. Looking forward to spending the rest of the week enjoying the coast of Oregon with Mom and Joanne.

Travel day today. Got the utilities disconnected, the toad hooked up and the motorhome ready to hit the road and soon left Netarts in our rearview mirror.

First stop was for propane- forgot to stop before we went to Netarts so we were kind of worried for the last two nights that we'd wake up in the middle of the night with no furnace and our butts freezing off.

The drive today was quite good - lots of wide highway with only a few ...
