    Great Spot, Scary Practices

It is true that this hotel is great for its location and options. But be weary of recent hotel staff. I had requested a room several months back for its view and location. After several comfirmations of its reservation, I arrived to find that they had given it away and put me in a bad location. They did finally come through with a decent accomodation. But only after going to the top and after having the blame be put all on my shoulders, before they discovered they had given it away. I also witnessed several individuals having trouble with the staff charging them for extra stays in their hotel. It hurt our vacation time because we had to spend time fighting for our original room.

    Right on the beach!

We stayed at the Surftides this spring and we found it very nice. We stayed on the first floor, so the beach was right outside our patio door.

    We would stay here again.

My wife and I have been going to the Surftides for over 20 years. We love it! Close to the Casino, right on the beach and the best restaurant in town right next door! Pick bottom to be on the beach or upper floors views are excellent looking out into the ocean. Swimming pool and spa, lots for a family or just a couple for a romantic weekend.

This hotel has been the greatest out of all I've stayed in! The view was magnificent, the pool and hot tub was great and the food was delicious. The staff was very helpful and generous. I definately recommend this experience to everyone. You won't regret it!

Loved the surftide Inn at lincoln city

What A View!! And What Service!!

Surftides Beach Resort!! What can I say not much ,Surftides speaks for itself. We have been going to Surftides Beach Resort for many years and each visit is even better than the last. Service is "Great", staff very friendly and polite. So if you want a memorable stay at the "Coast" Give Surftides Beach Resort a call.

    What a view

we have been staying here for years, our family too,the 1st floor is the way to go,it's like you're right in the ocean.GREAT BEACH ACCESS.AWESOME FOOD AT KEY WEST RESTAURANT!

    Awesome family weekend getaway

Perfect for a family getaway with easy and low beach access! The view is awesome!!. So relaxing.

    The perfect honeymoon getaway!

We stayed in one of the in-room jacuzzi suites on our honeymoon in 1994 and returned to the same room in summer of 2002. We loved it both times and the only changes that were made were made for the better. The staff is warm and friendly and the room was as wonderful as we remembered it to be. The facilities are kept very clean and the room service was excellent. We plan to return once a year from now on!

    Great and relaxing

My family have stayed at this hotel for years. But their recent renovation makes the place even better. The location and the beach access is unbeatable on the coast. For my elderly parents or my little kids, the access is safe and short from the room. The hotel is also situated on a large piece of property so you don't feel cramped in with a bunch of parking lots or other hotels. Some of the units have kitchenettes so you can cook your own breakfast and lunch and go to the on-site restaurant for dinner. It's close to the main grocery store for added convenience. We recommend it highly!

... driver took us out through a trail n the forest. For those who have never seen these dunes, like myself, it was quite something to see. This evergreen pine forest, with sand instead of the customary dirt and pine needles like you'd expect. The trails get larger and then give way to an expansive sea of sand. Rolling hills as far as the eyes can see, the horizon dotted with trees on one side and the Ocean on the ...

8:58am Mel's stirring in the trailer and I'm sitting in front of a nice fire. I had a long run on the beach when I woke up. Dodging pools of water, jumping over tidal streams. I could get used to that. Beats the monotony of running around the block. I was about to write that it's less windy today, but a gust of wind picked up. Who knows? Time to rally the troops. ---------- 3:49pm After a light breakfast - in the trailer this time - we went back to Newport ...

The fireworks took so long to get started that the tide rolling in forced us to change position. We changed position a second time when some long-haired locals decided to build a fire a couple inches from Jessica. Impatient people, half drunk, started blowing off fireworks in the crowd. Eventually ...
