28 days until I move to australia that countdown has flown by! Everything Is all sorted now: visas, travel insurance, flights etc. excited is a slight understatement. ... in a row. He has been building and digging post holes. He has been introduced to two tools, a crowbar and scissors for digging holes. These people don't know what a borer is! Suffice to say that after a day in the cold with said tools, a couple of beers and sleep comes very quickly, and brings new muscles in the morning! However, it is good to be working.

... second world war. They are non-profit, but basically watch the coast (who would have thought!) and if anything goes down, they report to the coast guard. They invited us up to their watch tower, and we had a laugh with them for about 15 minutes. We used their binoculars, remnants from soviet Germany – they were used on the Berlin wall many moons ago. We bought a postcard to support the cause and went on our merry way, after a few photos of course!
