... and we were pretty close to
walking straight back out again when the “owner” (who looked like a prostitute)
came out to greet us. Although it was very scary we asked about the prices for
the rooms anyway… and they were very cheap. It was 98 yuan per room for one
night which was perfect because if we shared it worked out to be less than 50

The new city is clean and shiny since it was built for the sailing events of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and it has many new skyscrapers. This is also an important Chinese Navy port - five submarines and various other ships were in port with us.

This area also has an ...

... calligraphy at an auction. Some members of our team, Mr. Ong and Mr. Aman purchase a few artworks. After lunch we are going to visit the beer museum. We enjoy different beers until 4 pm and head back to the hotel for a short nap. After the dinner we go to the beer street to watch the crowd and do more beer testing. We finish 2 pitchers of beer among 3 of us, John, Jacob and me. We hang out in a bar until 11 pm.
