Het grote plein van Santiago was overweldigend en emotioneel, zo mooi.
Het was allemaal mooi en fijn, maar nu is het voorbij.
De magie van de Camino is weg, we zijn op weg naar huis en nu vieren we nog even vakantie in Santander.
Straks gaan we op de boot en kijken wat Engeland ons te bieden heeft.
Dank je wel, Spanje. Het ga je goed. Hopelijk tot ziens.

... en gedaald hoeft te worden. Want dat doen treinen niet graag. Het is fijn om op deze manier naar het landschap te kijken. Zes uur later zijn we in Ovieda. Daar moeten we overstappen. Omdat het lijkt dat de trein naar Santander op een ander perron komt begint een klauterpartij trap op en trap af. ... set back which we didnt discover till the morning.
Next day good value golf at Santa Marina, an unusual course needing a buggy to negotiate all the ups and downs. Followed by a lazy late lunch in thier restaurant. -good fish dish.
Then a brilliant drive along the coast to Zierbana (port for Bilbao), brief stop at a startlingly busy beach and then overnight at the port before catching the ferry back to Potsmouth.
