    So today, we opted for golf over kayaking on Cedar Creek, since we love golf and we did bring our clubs. There is a golf course only 2 miles from the campground, Cedar Creek Golf Course, so we booked a tee time and headed on over. It's a municipal course which usually means sub-par and in this case we had no idea how sub the par was going to be which in golf means our scores were very much over par. Not good!

    Started out the day with another five-mile hike on the Barnegat Branch Trail. When we returned to the beginning of the trail, we watched a guy dive off the old railroad trestle into Cedar Creek. You'll notice the water has a brown resin color. The diver told us it's cedar water. The cedar trees all along the creek turn the water that color.

    ... far, it looks like the new place, Cedar Creek Campground, is going to be a real treat. A former railroad segment, now a 16-mile rails-to-trails hike/bike trail (Barnegat Branch Trail), is right here and there are kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing opportunities, as well.

    We made it to New Joisey around 6pm. The campground we booked "ain't the greatest" so after Keith picked us up and took us to Seaside Park where the family reunion is, we did an Internet search for a better campground and found one not too far away and so will be moving there tomorrow.
