      ... in-the-dark sticks to make necklaces and swords out of. They were kept busy running through the darkened house trying not to run into each others glowing necks! At 9.00 we were taken by surprise as we saw and heard fireworks up the river. A beautiful display of colours, sparkles, stars and rockets lit up the sky above the River House tree-line and reflected spectacularly on the river.       ... We spent the next 3 hours at the centre watching the boys run around and have a wonderful time on the equipment. Joshua had fun dressing up in a cowboy hat; Benjamin enjoyed exploring the sensory equipment; Samuel and Noah played pirates on the slides and bridges; Ella slept.

      After another hours drive in the car we arrived by at the River House where the boys all showered/bathed and we began the night-time routine! ...

      ... the evening event. We went back to the gallery for an evening of opera from Sally-Anne Russell, a mezzo-soprano from the Australian Opera. After the performance we were invited to another party at the house of a local supporter of the gallery.       ... as a Swiss patisserie, but had the same fare you would find in any bakery.

      The butter factory had some nice woodwork and leatherwork, and some paintings from local artists. But overall, it was a bit of a let down.

      So on the way back we stopped at the Big Banana, mostly for a photo opportunity, but also to try their chocolate coated frozen bananas. Quite nice actually.

      ... d get a taxi instead, the bus journey was long and there was some right weirdos on there, made me cringe!! We stopped at a cafe where I had my first ever dim sim and let me tell you, it was amazing! yummy goodness! Then back on the coach I fell asleep for a bit, I didn't end up getting to Coffs Harbour till 1am, I got a taxi to hostel then had to try and find what bed was free, when I finally did I had to try make it in the dark, was hard! Then I went to lalala land ...
