... left from Liverpool, England on the ship Cedric and arrived at Ellis Island October 9, 1904. Once in New York, they got on a train for the final journey to Iowa. While aboard the train, Signe was robbed of all of her money but finally arrived in Iowa and started work as a housekeeper.
Signe eventually married and had 2 daughters, Violet (Bruce's grandmother) and Frances. Signe left Iowa and took both girls to a farm a few miles outside ...

... that we were laying in the mud and we still had to enter the club. I won't hide, security looked at us like freaks, but we didn't want to skip that night, just because we were dirty, haha! And I am glad we didn't as that night brought more friendships and more fun in all that Erasmus life!
