... We ended up driving 260 miles on easy roads and found a little older campground off the highway to spend the night. Only ones there from "off the road". Everyone else were "Perms" or permanent trailers/Rv's who vacation there. Used to be an old KOA and it was quiet. We encamped, showered and hit the bed. I must say, if I had to live up here, this would be the city I would want to live in.

... br> We found a little place to camp for the night. It is actually a private residence between both highways and they have turned their backyard into an RV spot.
They had working wifi...I didn't care.
We parked earlier than usual today and took the Jeep into town for a nice dinner. We went to Black Tree Restaurant in Two Harbors and had a wonderful Walleye ...

    Saying goodbye to Duluth

The beginning of this new adventure for us began with saying goodbye to Duluth...and all of the material items we could stand to part with. Despite these efforts we still have too much junk. A full 12 feet in a semi, a pretty full Jeep, and a cargo carrier full that rides on top of the Jeep. Wish we had more time for cleaning, packing, and mostly friends and family...but we are so excited to begin the journey tomorrow :) Next stop: Billings, ...
