... hassles at the airport bags pass and no pat down although I looked a fright after removing bobby pins. Arriving at Gatwick the beginning of a nightmare. We walk and walk and walk to the customs check. UK /EU citizens go in one line and the rest of us in another. Our line is very long and very slow we waited an hour at least (the Uk citizen have long ago left the ...

... we leave the protective bubble of the car, it is very cold with winds and sleet/rain. We are at the feet of Matterhorn but it is shrouded in cloud. Below us is a magnificent valley with glaciers and terminal moraine. As we walk the rain and winds abait the clouds lift to give a glimpse of the Matterhorn. We have three trains with transfer times of around 5 minutes in between so ...

We walked across a suspension bridge over a very deep gorge. Came across a random kids park with a zip line. When we got back to apartment and told girls, they wished they would have gotten up to go. We took several gondolas and cable cars up to show ...

... Murren. This town is supposed to be the typical Swiss village town you think about from the story book pages.

Will update you later after visiting them, we are still waiting for our 2nd train to come........

It is now 11am and we are sitting inside a mountain on a train at Eigerwand which is the last leg of our train journey.

There is cloud everywhere so we won't be seeing the sights that we expected but the train journey winding through the hills all ...
