Montego Bay Montego Bay, Jamaica
... our last day we got a local taxi driver to take us down the road to Negril, another town on the west of the country. There is a great beach there (7-mile beach) and some cliffs with the most amazing turquoise water crashing beneath.

To sum it up, Mobay served its purpose perfectly: gave us a chance to catch up with Craig, do some swimming, catch a tan, drink some beers but most of all just take it easy and relax and have a holiday form our holiday!

Montego Bay, Jamaica caribbean_fever... always ready to infect, any time any place any vector. Wear protection.

Looking for a doctor in a Third World country is always fun. The only consolation is that it'll probably be cheaper than the US, but it'll probably be more than Thailand. It is, but health is more important, health and happiness. Considering that I'll see my wife tomorrow for the first time in two months, I need to be fit, if you know what I mean, and I think you ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica hardiek... me. It's no big deal I think, probably just a 24-hour bug, but it's probably enough to keep me close to home for the remainder of my stay in Jamaica. So that means I spent three weeks in Jamaica total and never got out of Montego Bay. Oh, well. I did the same in Port-of-Spain for a week when I also had wi-fi and a cheap (by Caribbean standards) room. At least here I don't have to **** in the sink. Actually that's one of my favorite things ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica hardiek... exists throughout much of the Caribbean and into the US Deep South is entirely absent in Suriname. Even the roti is pretty lame compared to Trinidad, and prices are no cheap**. Gastronomically Trinidad takes the cake, lit**ally, with good bak**ies in addition to kill** rotis and Chinese and Indian food that goes beyond the most basic of basics, all at reasonable prices, though Guyana is not bad. Th**e they've even got something called ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica hardiek... him for the entire trip which was fantastic. We had a different guide who walked with us telling us stories about the land and then began talking about his tip expectations. He actually began telling us how cheap people have been and how people don't like to tip very much, especially the cruise ship people, he said. This turned me off immediately. He began telling me that I should tip him $50.00 and I should also give $50.00 to the guide ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica tricia.searsLast port was Montego Bay Jamaica. It was crazy at the dock - so many people trying to sell you stuff before you even went into the shops. I reserved a day at the Sandals resort...I won't lie to you - it was nice...:) The tour bus took as on a 20 minute drive around the island to get to the resort and we went through some of the ugliest, poorest ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica mikeyinpdx... one means a lot to me. The flight we were given was a cheap red-eye, we left Calgary in the afternoon and didn't arrive in Jamaica until 7AM the next day. I don't think I've ever felt more tired! But as soon as we touch down all the fatigue melts away as I smell my beloved Jamaican air again. We collect our luggage and go out to the waiting area where we expect there will be a flashing sign that says HI AGAIN WINNERS!! hahaha. This time we went alone ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica jamcan... It is worth pointing out that it is in the realm of the excursions where I felt Jamaica came into its own, and there is a blisteringly great range of tourist activities which I felt fully exploited all of what the island had to offer. These excursions include the obvious climb up Dunn's River falls, to rafting on the Martha Brae, and a day trip to the glorious beaches of Negril, and a stop at Rick's cafe, where cocktails, cliff ...
