Superclubs Breezes Curacao Willemstad

... boot, socializen met de vele bootburen hier en met Daan naar het strand. Er zijn hier overigens nog drie andere Nederlandse boten met kinderen: de Seraglio, de Kaat en de Al-om. Er is tijdens ons verblijf ook al een baby geboren, deze woont op een Zuid-Afrikaanse boot.

Het onderwaterschip had diverse roestplekken en deze heeft Jeroen, met behulp van een Peragoschijf op de boormachine, gestraald. Daarna alles geschuurd, voorzien ...

... naar één van de kades. Wij hebben vanuit onze hotelkamer uitzicht op dit fascinerende gebeuren!

Op de tweede dag dat we hier zijn, ontmoeten we een paar oude bekenden, het Zwitserse stel van de Melmar met hun zoontje van ruim een jaar. Zij zijn een paar maanden geleden teruggegaan naar de boot en geven het zeilen nu op. Het lukte ze niet om met Kyle hun draai te vinden aan boord. ... and brown, and there are a lot of cacti everywhere, but it was very green while I was there because of the rainy season. there were only a few beaches and they were kinda torn up from a previous hurricane but still, as you can see from the pictures, very nice. I did one dive, and some free diving while I was there. The reef is very nice around the island. The dive we did was on the wreck that was pretty cool aswell.

... met pastelkleurige pakhuizen langs het water. Zondag gaan we wandelen met Timo en Annemiek van de Blue Marlin. Zij zijn hier permanent neergestreken en kennen het eiland op hun duimpje (Timo komt oorspronkelijk ook van het eiland). Ook gaan we nog met een aantal boten samen duiken en bbq-en. We vermaken ons dus prima! Wellicht komt een volgende update al vanuit Ecuador, anders horen jullie in november weer van ons. Dan zullen ook onze plannen voor het komende jaar duidelijk zijn.

... als 300 deutsche gaeste an bord und bin somit gut gefragt.... aber das alleine waere auf alle faelle zu schaffen wenn ich nicht noch gleichzeitig fuer meine neue position geschult werden wuerde und nebenbei auch noch die ganzen uebersetzungen fuer das schwesternschiff victoria mache (die deutsche hostess ist dort leider krank geworden und dadurch ist not am mann!!!). Arrived in Willemstad,,Curacao. Joined a tram city tour and see the multicolored Dutch heritage buildings. Willemstad is a UNESCO site. Ate Yeshi Yena.a native food of stuffed cheese and meat for lunch. Visited the Kura Hulanda Museum with a big displays about slavery and African Arts (Mali,Ethiopia,etc') It rain and we were running to cross the swinging Queen Emma Bridge. Walk back to the ship.

Mark is on time and we leave for 2 more shore dives. It is again the 3 of us and we dive for more than 2 hours in total! Although we do not see anything out of the ordinary, it is great dives. The second one is my nr. 250!!!! Mark brought lunch, which we take on the beach. We come home at 14h and chat to the owners of the apartments. They give us the bill. I ask Hans whether it suits him to take us to the airport ...
