    Shinkasen means "new trunk routes" and that is what they service, the main routes. It is like flying on an aircraft with hostesses in fancy uniforms, food cart girls and uniforms for everyone.     One of the highlights of Takamatsu is the Ritsurin gardens.
    There are no flowers, rather there are ponds and immaculately sculpted trees
    and rocks and traditional tea houses. It is all so simple yet so effective. We
